Lucky is a 2-year old purebred shihtzu who was recently released from a breeder.  He is a larger Tzu at 20 lbs, but with exercise and a good diet we hope to get him down to his ideal weight of 18 lbs.  He is learning how to live the good life - What a dog bed is, getting treats (velveeta is his favorite) and snuggling with foster mom.  He is a very sweet boy and non-reactive to anything.  He just started playing with crinkly toys and running around the house and loves his two shihtzu foster sisters. He has started carrying his toys from room to room and is so happy doing that.  Ideally, he would need a fully-fenced in yard to romp around in and someone who is home most of the time as he doesn't like the crate.  He is crate trained, however, and we are working on housebreaking.  If you are interested in meeting Lucky, fill out an application today.
