Introducing Peppito to rescue.  He is a two year old, 7 lb Lhasa Apso who has had an unusual life. He was purchased by an older woman who never took him outside - at all.  No grass, fresh air, or bathroom breaks.  We are working on his housebreaking and he will use a puppy pad when available.  Peppito is fearful of many things but can be a bully with other dogs so he must be an only dog in his forever home and go to a home with a fenced-in yard.  He will respond with panic and nip if you touch his tail. He also resource guards his toys and food - You cannot take his food or toy away or he will also try to nip. These behaviors are fading somewhat as he learns to trust us.  Peppito can also be sweet and loving. He loves his ears scratched and being cuddled. He loves to play and any water (the shower, a flushing toilet, a hose) excites him!
