Meet Buddy Joe. He is an 11-year-old Pug. He is your typical pug – he loves to play, snuggle, sleep and of course eat. He currently has bladder stones and is on an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and a special Urinary food. He will need to be on this special food for at least 3-6 months and potentially a different vet prescribed food for the rest of his life. As of now Buddy can only have this food and no other treats/food, so families adopting him must be able to adhere to these health guidelines. (He may be able to eat treats in the future, but this may not be a possibility) Buddy is seriously the sweetest and will follow his humans everywhere! He loves squeaky toys and has the best head tilt around! He has dental disease, but that doesn’t stop him from showing off his teeth! He has a significant limp, in his back legs. We were told he was hit by a car as a puppy. He appears to not be in any pain, and moves around pretty quickly! He does need assistance with stairs, and getting onto couches/beds etc. Buddy Joe walks well on a leash, and is crate trained (he does intermittently bark). He gets along well with other dogs, but does not require a second dog in the home. Due to his health and dietary restrictions Buddy Joe would do better with older children.  He is a heartbreaker!  If you are interested in meeting Buddy Joe, fill out an application today!
