Meet Chad!
Chad is a very handsome 18 month old standard poodle.

Chad has some SPECIAL NEEDS. He was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy. This means he needs daily medication to control grand mal seizures.
Epilepsy can be easily controlled with 2 pills a day, but he will most likely be on anti-seizure medication for life. His current prescription costs about $35 for a months supply from the veterinarian’s office.

Chad is quite a happy and normal dog. Affectionate, goofy, and oafy are theee words that come to mind. I’d say he’s currently a medium energy level.
He is almost 70 pounds, and is a very tall boy. Because he can get very excited and is a bit of a clumsy guy while being so large, Chad would do best with children over 5 years old.
Chad loves his dog friends and would really like one to play and wrestle with within his new home. He’s good with both big and small dogs in the house. He also gets along great with children. He has not been tested with cats.
Chad is potty trained, and we are actively working on leash manners and crate training with him.

Something to note - since Chad is a large poodle and does not shed, a lot of time and effort will be needed for proper coat upkeep. Professional grooming costs, and his monthly medication costs should be taken into consideration before putting in an application.
