My name is Anna Luna and I am a 5 year-old Morkie (mix between a Yorkie and Maltese)! Each day I am learning more of what I like and don't like. I really enjoy being outside and being able to run around in the backyard. I look forward to my morning walks with my foster family and the other dog I live with. I do very well on a leash and I also love just being lazy outside.  At night I prefer my crate,  but I’m pretty good with letting someone know I need to go potty.  I am still warming up to being close with people, but I keep getting more curious about them every day.  Although I might not be ready to cuddle, I do like to be around them when they’re home!  I’m not too much of a high-energy dog, but I do enjoy walks around the neighborhood and meeting all of the other dogs.   With a little bit of training, I'll be a great dog! I do sometimes get a little skittish so I will need someone who can take things slow with new experiences.  I really do like having people at home, so someone who spends a lot of time at home would be perfect!

Known Medical Issues: Allergy to yeast (not a problem, I just have to watch what I eat ðŸ˜Š)

Dogs: I love to meet new dogs around the neighborhood and have a foster-sister who’s a lot bigger than me, but we get along just great.  I wouldn’t consider myself the leader of the pack, as I prefer to tag-along with a friend.

Cats: I have mixed feelings about these folks – I don’t go chasing them or anything, but I do give them a good talking to.

Children: I get along great with kids.  Having not been picked up a lot before, I prefer that a grown-up do that when I need it.

Fence Needs: Recommended, as I do like to explore all sorts of new things!

Potty training:  I’m pretty good at this. I do need an owner who is diligent about taking me outside as I do not yet indicate when I need to go outside.

Crate training:  I like a crate that gives me a little room to move, as I do sleep at night in there and usually keep my food and water there to.  Love having a blanket in my crate and on the floor to sleep on.

Leash training:  I do great on a leash!
