Meet Jude! Jude is a male 5 year old long-haired dachshund that hasn’t had the best start to life. It will be a slow process to warm up to someone because new people are very scary to him! He has been in a foster home for 2 months and loves his foster mom. He likes to have all of her attention and although he will run up to her for love, he still gets nervous of her approaching him sometimes. He will nudge her when she stops petting him and wants to be near her at all times. He loves other dogs, but they will need to be somewhat gentle with him. He is good with cats. No small children in the house because he will be frightened and needs a gentle touch. Jude would love a calm household with people that understand him and will put in the time to help him adjust. He is potty trained to go outside but likes pee pads too because he goes often. He loves walks but you will have to get to know him for a while first so he trusts you and won’t run away from you.
