Jimi is a breeder release and came to us from a shelter in Memphis, TN.  He has a quiet disposition and is very skittish, however after a couple of weeks, he has started to come out of his shell.  He likes to bark when he's playing with you and has found he likes chew toys.  He lets you pick him up now if you approach him slowly and talk to him.  He sleeps in the big bed because he doesn't care for the crate too much.  He sleeps through the night and doesn't make a peep.  He will go into the crate if you give him a treat-filled kong, but after that he lets you know he doesn't like it by pawing at the crate and barking.  This evenutally stops after awhile and he will lay down.  He is learning how to snuggle and loves his ears being rubbed.  He has started running when you call him and especially when you shake the treat bag!  Jimi will be the perfect dog after he trusts his owner :)
