My name is Soji. I am an approximately 7 year old smart, female Chihuahua who was rescued as part of a large scale dog breeding raid down south (look up Operation Breathe for more information!). I love to be near my people once I get to know them, walk great on a leash, love treats, food, and know my name. I don't enjoy being touched, but I love to curl up nearby and listen to your voice. I will go potty outside and use a pee pad.
I would be great with someone who works at home or can take me to work. (my foster mom takes me to her office in the mornings) Cats are okay but may be chased if they run. It will take time for me to trust you, but once I do, I will follow you wherever you go. I have lived with teenagers and would be good with children who can respect my fear and understand what I've been through. I am great with other dogs, cats are ok too as long as they can respect my space. It will take me a little time to trust you, so I need a patient home.
