My name is Gidget! I was seized from a bad situation with many other dogs and am now safe with a foster family that lives just outside of Buffalo, NY. My rescue isn't sure exactly how old I am, but I'm somewhere over 10 years old. My 2 favorite things to do are to snuggle on the couch with my foster family, and cuddling my stuffed animals in my dog bed. In my foster home, I've been exposed to both male & female dogs, a small dog, a medium sized dog, a senior cat, and even an XXL sized dog and I'm fine with all, except I prefer to be fed separately from them because I worry they'll steal my food. My foster home only has adult kids, and I haven't been able to meet any young kids yet. With me being so small, it's best if I don't live with very young kids because I might get hurt, so school aged and up only, please. I am less than 6 lbs, so pretty small! My whole life I've lived in a cage, so I'm still working on going potty outside, but inside I'm a very good girl and am great about using my pee pads. I have no teeth left, and no jaw either, so I have to eat using my tongue and the roof of my mouth. I need mushed up food so I can eat, and boy do I do love to eat! I'm also on 2 medications for my heart and blood pressure, and they have really helped me to be spunky and live life to the fullest. I will need to be on them for the rest of my life. I take my pills great dissolved into my meals. I know I'm a bit of an older girlie but I still have lots of love and loyalty to give!!!
