Hola amigos, my name is Jack. I'm an adult, male Chihuahua who arrived into rescue after my human entered a facility at which, unfortunately, I was not welcome. I'm a confident, handsome guy who loves humans. I get along well with the other canines in my foster home, two lazy pugs, a lab, and a crazy Aussie mix. The warm spring has brought me to spend time in the fenced backyard notifying neighbors of any and all happenings. I proudly let my foster parents know if I see anything out of sorts, you know, like birds feeding at the feeder or other dogs taking pee and poop breaks in their own backyards. Social distancing has brought a lot of napping on the couch under a blanket, on my foster dad's lap, or on the back deck in the sun. I'm crate trained and happily put myself to bed at night when asked. I walk well on a leash and enjoy strolls around the block. I'm still honing my household manners and may need reminders to eliminate exclusively outdoors. I know that's the right thing to do, but forget sometimes. I like to eat and love the blueberry treats found in the pug-themed canister in the kitchen. I'm ALL Chihuahua. I'm happy and chatty, and by chatty I mean I like to grumble even when I'm excited. My foster mom calls me the flea as a term of endearment, I'm sure. When I see my family I get so excited I bounce and jump and zoom around. Anyway, enough about me.
