Shimmy is a sweet, tail wagging 15 pound Bishon Frise who spent her first 6ish years as a breeding momma.
She is very shy except when it comes to other dogs, no matter shape or size, she loves them all. She's looking to spend the rest of her days playing and enjoying soft beds, walks, being with other dogs, learning tricks, and enjoying yummy treats.
Her crate training is going great, but still needs to understand how important housebreaking is. With consistency she has very few accidents.
Shimmy's dream home would come with a fenced yard (she just loves running through the grass), there would be another dog brother or sister to play with, a patient and loving human to show her that most humans are really nice. Shimmy would love a soft bed in the corner where she can watch her humans go about their business. She seems to like getting brushed. She doesn't shed, but would need brushing to make sure her soft curls don't get matted.
Shimmy currently lives in Rochester with her foster family and their 2 pugs.
