Sheila E. is a 2 1/2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog. What can I say about Sheila, she is the sweetest dog you could ever want to meet. She is an 87lb lapdog literally. She sits in my lap all the time. She is very calm and just wants to be close to us. Sheila is potty trained and loves going for walks. She stays right next to me and even walks next to her foster puppy brothers stroller without any issues. Sheila is a breeder release that was hit by a car. Unfortunately she never received proper medical care for a pelvic/hip fracture and as a result the fracture did not heal in ideal position. Currently Sheila doe not seem to suffer any pain from the injury, she runs, climbs into and out of the car and goes on walks every day. However Sheila does have some degenerative joint disease and arthritis and may require surgery at some point in the future. Sheila loves children of all ages, gets along well with other dogs and does not seem to mind our two cats. Sheila is also crate trained.
