Brody is the perfect shih tzu. He is happy, sweet, loving, devoted and gorgeous.  He loves baths. He would love to run and play with a female his sizes who would be happy to let him be the king! We don't think he would do well living with another male dog or a dog bigger than him. He is also excellent at vegging out when his foster mom needs to relax! Brody gets jealous of the male dogs in the foster family- he barks in their faceescand tries to steal their toys.  He loves his food and devours his meals completely in minutes. He's an excellent watch dog,  no one will sneak up on his family! He is very compassionate with his family's emotions. We believe he would be the perfect pup in any home with or without kids. He would prefer a sister dog, his size or smaller. Cats we aren't sure...he would never hurt any living thing,  he wants to play and currently barks  at the 10-year-old resident cat. Brody is mostly housetrained we've been using a belly band and if left alone for more than six hours he tends to have an accident. He may or may not need it once he's away from  male dogs and after he has been neutered. Please submit your application if  would like to be considered for this loving boy.
