Lacy is a 6 year old Coton de Tulear, she is a recent breeder release and very rare to find in rescue. Please do your research on the breed,  they do have specific needs and are NOT for every home situation.  Although very sweet , fun dogs they do NOT do well being left alone for long periods of times .

Lacy is learning well to trust people and although still nervous and shy , she enjoys her daily brushing and some quiet cuddles on her fosters lap. She is working on her housetraining skills and will need an adopter who is willing to continue her training with lots of patience and love. Cotons do not respond well to harsh corrections or training, they "wilt".  Lacy is working hard to build confidence and learn what life is in a home, so TLC is important for her to blossom. She must have another dog in the home to help her continue her progress and adjust in her new home.  She has been fine with the kids in the home. However we are recommending a home with kids over 6 years please.

Coton's do not like to be alone for too long and Lacy is true to her breed. She will howl when she is lonley, however does stop when corrected. Lacy is looking for someone who can give her lots of love , attention and time in her forever home.  Please apply at Buffalopugs.org
