Edelweiss, or Edie for short, is a former mill momma. Edie coexists with her foster sisters just fine, but tends to be the fun police. She was previously adopted and returned- she tried to be alpha in her new home and did not get along with her new sister. Because of this, she needs to be adopted as an ONLY dog. 

She is very affectionate with her people and loves going for rides. Need someone to go on errands with you or for a long drive? Edie loves it! She does love fuzzy stuffy toys, but prefers a fuzzy blanket and a lap :) She is very intrigued by the tv (Harry Potter is her favorite), and will gladly join you while you watch. She also loves taking afternoon naps with her person.

She is on the thin side and still needs to gain a lb or 2. She eats well, kibble only, but will not eat out of a bowl. She uses a brown mat, which will come with her, as well as a bag of her food. Her food also must be a quality grain free.

Edie is not yet 100% housebroke. She understands going out, and needs to go out immediately after eating. She will sleep through the night without any accidents, and will wake you if she has to go. She does still have the occasional accident in the house. She also cannot do more than 4-5 stairs currently. The steps in and out of the house are just fine, but the big staircase is still scary! She is very treat motivated, so it should be easy to teach her steps. In the mean time, this 23 lb princess will need to be carried up and down the stairs.

Edie does have a Grade 2 luxating patella on her back left leg. It does not cause her any issues at all, but should be monitored. 

Edie is one of the happiest frenchies, and shows you how happy she is by wiggling her whole back end.
