Violet is a 4 and half year old pure bred West Highland Terrier female.  She loves to go for walks , lay on your lap and watch TV, yes she watches TV!  See, being a Westie, Violet has a very high prey drive.  She loves to chase the rabbits and squirrels at her fosters home.  That is what they were bred to do , hunt small animals, Violet is no exception.  For this reason she will need a home with NO cats or other small animals like Farretts and children over 10 years of age.  A fenced yard is preferred.  Prior to coming to us Violet and her littermate would get into squabbles over Chipmonks at the window or the doorbell.  Sadly the family had two Alpha personalities growing in their home , with no experience on how to handle it.  They decided to seek rehoming Violet to keep both safe.  She would love to be the Queen of her castle as the only dog or possibly with a VERY submissive companion. Violet is a very loving girl, she is also crate trained, house trained, know basic commands such as sit, down and stay.  Please do your research on this breed , she will make the right home a great companion.
