Lucy is a 15 year old Miniature Pinscher lady who was a nursing home companion up until her owner sadly passed away and she found herself at the shelter.  That was NOT going to happen as long as we could help her...  Lucy is an active, chubby lady who defies anyone calling her an old dog !  Lucy does stairs like a champ and would benefit from someone who likes to take frequent shorter walks.  She loves being around the other dogs and cats too,  is super sweet and has not met a person she does not like.

Beacause Lucy was a nursing home companion she is trained to use potty pads indoors.  Due to her age we would not recommend her for young children but calm respectful teens may be best.  We know there is someone willing to share their love and home to give Lucy the best retirement home of "HER" life now.  She has given her life to comfort and be there for someone who will be that special person to be there for her?
