Rennie is a sweet yorkie with a big personality. Although she is crate trained, she can get noisy when she hears someone come home or if ignored for too long. She is a mill dog and does get scared, but partially because humans are so much taller than her petite 4 lb body. When she first arrived, she would run and hide when approached, but is now able to come up to you and take a treat from your hand. However, she loves being held and does not startle or try to run when cuddling. She is pee pad trained, responds to the word "potty" when outside, but is still working on telling someone when she has to go. She does not seem to mind other dogs and mainly ignores them. Although she can get quite noisy when she wants attention she does not join in barking with her foster siblings when outside sounds are heard. Despite the cold weather Rennie will go outside and is learning to go for walks. She seems to enjoy them and a small excursion is all she needs to tucker her out for the day. As a toy breed, Rennie is very delicate and would not be a good fit for a family with very small children. If you are looking for a dog that loves to be carried around, looks adorable in doggie outfits (especially hoodies!), and is a great cuddler, Rennie is the perfect match!
