Blue is an energetic 4 year old blue heeler who loves nothing more than to play in the yard and snuggle with his favorite people.Extremely affectionate, Blue took to his foster parents almost immediately, and is always by our sides! Fully house trained and very intelligent, Blue adjusted to our home very quickly.  He understands "sit" but does not know any more commands yet. Given his obvious intelligence, I'm sure this will change quickly! Blue walks very well on a leash, enjoys going on jogs with his foster papa, and travels well in the car. We have not crated Blue, as he hasn't shown any destructive tendencies while left in the home, and he is content to sleep on the floor of our bedroom. We have no children, however he seemed to interact well with the children at the adoption center. At times he tries to herd our two smaller dogs, which is an expectation for his breed. Because of this it's best to do some research on hearding breeds if you have other dogs. Blue is a wonderful dog, deserving of a great forever home. He is as loyal and intelligent as they come, and will be your constant companion.
