Welcome Roscoe to the rescue!  This handsome pug mix is just sweet as can be.  Due to some previous experiences, Roscoe does not enjoy the company of children.  He will need to go to an adults only home.

**UPDATE** Roscoe is a delightful dog and would be a great companion for anyone!  He is a pug mix ( we think mixed with Jack Russell), about 2 years and 7 months old.  He is a male, and is fully housebroken.  He was surrendered because he was afraid of children, but we don’t know the circumstances.  So far, while Roscoe has not been living with children, he is friendly around them in controlled situations.  He has been a wonderful greeter for our rescue when we visit pet stores, and is friendly and goes up to anyone.  While Roscoe enjoys going for walks outside, he has to be kept on a leash or in a fenced in yard, because he is not fond of giving up his freedom!  Roscoe lives with 3 other dogs in his foster home, and gets along with everyone.  He does not live with cats, but does bark at them when he sees them in the window of the house next door.  While Roscoe likes his exercise, he is just as happy being a couch potato when the situation calls for it.  Roscoe can be very vocal, and we are working on that behavior.  He is much loved in his foster home, and we are sure he would be happy almost anywhere.  He has so much love to give.
