Meet Star! She is one of the most wonderful dogs we've ever met. She's quickly become a volunteer favorite and is loved by everyone she meets.

Star was surrendered to a kill shelter by her owners who claimed she grew too big. What we're they thinking? Star is a lab mix, and a teenie tiny one at that! She's about 30 lbs right now, but needs to gain a few. The stress of 2 months in the shelter has made her very thin.

Star is a youngster with an old soul. She's a baby- so gentle, so loving and just loves to have someone by her side loving on her. She thinks she is a lap dog and we won't tell her otherwise. She's housebroken and walks on a leash but needs a little guidance because she does pull. She is fantastic with dogs, cats and children too!
