Romeo is quite the unique little guy. He was surrendered to BP&SBR because his owner felt he needed a home without young children. Romeo is super sweet, but when he is playing with other dogs, he can get be a little careless around the little ones.

Romeo is almost 2 years old and an interesting mix. His mom was a pug/maltese mix and his father was a french bulldog. Romeo is a stocky, handsome fella with a wiry coat. He is good on the leash and loves everyone. He is full of kisses and is always happily wagging his curly tail. Romeo is neutered and in good health. He is housebroken and enjoys playing with toys and just loves treats! He gets along well with dogs, but we're not sure about cats. Romeo is very used to having someone home with him most of the time. He would do best in a home with a family that is not away for long hours or a couple that works opposite shifts. He is good with children, but would do best with older children. He does play hard with other dogs and could easily topple a small child over. He responds just fine to verbal correction.

Romeo does have a history of hot spots. For this reason, we'd prefer that he eats a quality food with no grain. There are many different varieties of food available and it would really be best for him long term to continue on this type of food.
