Update 2/23/2012: Our dearest Aries left for the rainbow bridge this morning after a very courageous battle with Parvo. We love you little one and there will be many at the bridge looking forward to seeing you again.
Aries & his 4 littermates were discarded in a ditch in rural Virginia. They were found by a good Samaritan who contacted a local rescue who then contacted us to help. We said yes and on 2/18, they were transported to us in NY.
We are so grateful to have a wonderful foster mom for these babies who works in a vet clinic. On the morning of February 20th, little brindle boy, "Aries" broke with the symptoms of parvo. His treatment began immediately; fluids and antibiotics. We are moving him to one of our rescue's partner vets in Buffalo, NY but could use all the help we can get.
Aries has 4 littermates have been started on antibiotics. He was also transported with 5 other 8 week old puppies. Thus far, no one has shown any symptoms aside from Aries, but we are taking every precaution possible to ensure the health and safety of Aries and the other pups. Any support is greatly appreciated and tax deductible. With great thanks, Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue, Inc & our dedicated volunteers
