Bella's owner surrendered her to a kill shelter because she was moving. We offered to help this pretty little lady find her forever home.

Bella is about 1 year old and just shy of 10lbs. Bella is an energetic, agile little lady who would excel with agility training. Bella's foster mom just adores her. She is a great snuggler and is getting along well with the dogs in her foster home both large and small, but has a hard time trusting strange dogs. After a few hours spent with a new dog, she lets her guard down and responds kindly to others. If Bella is to join a home with another dog, her family must be patient and willing to monitor the dogs until they learn to trust and respect one another. Bella does have some previous training and will go to the door. Her foster mom is still working to train Bella to only eliminate outside on the leash and she is doing very well but will need a little more reinforcement. She walks well on the leash and really enjoys exploring and going for walks. Bella is okay with the 3 cats in her foster home, but they are used to being around dogs and tend to keep to themselves. Bella would also do just fine in a home with older, teenage children who will gently handle her.
