This wonderful little guy is Mac. This poor boy was unlucky enough to have contracted heartworm and was on his way to being euthanized at the shelter when we were asked if we would take him! What a terrible close call that was! But we happily were able to take him and have him treated.

Mac is just a wonderful, happy little guy and you would never know there was something so scary and life threatening going on with him. He loves everyone and is a joy to have around. He has gone through his heartworm treatment and will just need another heartworm test in a few months to be sure he remains heartworm free. We know that there was a very good reason why Mac found us, and we are happy to take care of him until we find his forever home and family. Mac is being fostered in Rochester.
