Mr. Wilson passed over the Rainbow Bridge on March 22, 2012. RIP Mr. Wilson ! You will be missed !
Friends. it's with a very heavy heart that i tell you that my dear little Mr.Wilson lost his battle with his recent illness on Thursday March 22nd.
I still cant believe it's true. He was a such brave fighter his whole life and this was no exception but his little body was just too sick to withstand everything going on inside it. He had 24hr ICU care at the VEC for over a week where they fell in love with him and his quirky ways and took turns holding him for hours while he needed oxygen. I am thankful for the kindness they showed him and the funny stories they shared with me every day about his funny Mr. behavior.
The Mr. was really one of a kind and i hope folks have been able to get a glimpse into his life here as he was so special. He was an epic dude in a tiny package and had more personality in those 4lbs than anyone could ever believe was possible. That something so tiny can leave behind such a noticeable absence....well that was the Mr. You certainly knew when he came tip tapping into the room that's for sure.
As much as he was loved by many, he also loved so many of you just as much back. I feel so lucky that i was able to be part of this little special creature's life and i thank the Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue, Inc. for rescuing him and then giving me the awesome opportunity to be his mum these last 5 years. I had hoped we'd had so much more time together but i guess it just wasn't in the cards. Somewhere the Mr. is needed elsewhere i guess. I hope he's now with my other dog Maddie, sniffing her bum and driving her crazy chasing her around like old times. I hope he is now pain free and busy growling happily with clear bright eyes and a happy heart.
Please feel free to share stories of him here.
R.I.P. Mr.Wilson
Sweet little Mr. Wilson was found wandering the streets all by himself. We were happy that the shelter asked up to help them find him a wonderful new forever home. This little guy is very sweet and deserves his own loving family and a lap to snuggle in. He is easily frightened, so we would like to place him in an adult only home. If you have a lap available and want to rescue Mr. Wilson, please fill out and submit an online adoption application today! Mr. Wilson is being fostered in Buffalo.
