Mollie has passed on :(

My name is Paul Webb-Walsh and I adopted a sweet mini-daschund about 8 years ago from Buffalo Pug and Small Breed. Her name was Mollie and she was living in a foster home in Rochester, NY. I had just recently moved to Rochester and was excited to own my first dog.
When I got Mollie from your group, she was between 6-8 years of age. She has been my baby ever since and I've loved every minute of my time with her. She passed away in her sleep on Saturday. I couldn't have asked for a better companion and a friend. I wanted to say "Thank You" for letting me adopt her so many years ago. She changed my life and brought me so much happiness. I never would have found her if it hadn't been for your organization. Hopefully one day I will adopt another buddy from your group. Keep up the great work and thank you again.

Meet sweet Mollie! This adorable little black and tan, smooth-coated doxie girl was surrendered to rescue for reasons unknown. She is housetrained, knows sit, down and paw and just loves to snuggle up with you and while away the day. She is very relaxed (ie. lazy) but will get up for a good game of fetch or to take a walk. Her favorite thing seems to be getting her leash on and taking a walk with you. This is an important activity to also help her keep her girlish figure.

Mollie is currently in a foster home without children. We have been informed by a previous foster that she does NOT get along with children, so she will need to be placed in an adult only home.

Mollie tolerates other dogs, but is intimidated by the big ones. It would be best if she was an only dog or if any canine housemates were small like her. She is wary of strangers at first, and will sometimes give a little grouch growl, but does not bite or show any aggression at all. If you want a wonderful, loving, loyal little lap dog who thinks the sun rises and sets on you, please fill out an online application today AND email me directly at kat@buffalopugs.org.
