Nelli is a gorgeous 1 and a half year old beagle girl! She appears to be a full blooded beagle and seems to be enjoying her newfound freedom from the Amish puppy mill she was raised at. Nelli lived at the puppy mill for her whole 1.5 yrs of life and needs to be given some patience, love and understanding as she detoxifies from that environment. Nelli is sure to make an excellent family pet... she does not bark all that much and she seems okay with everything thrown at her. She does exhibit some fear around new people and sometimes acts as though she does not understand what is going on. All of these personality characteristics are common among dogs from the puppy mills and they generally disappear after a few months when the dog becomes certain of their new home and environment and realizes what its like to live the life of a house dog.
