New to rescue; introducing Candee. She is 7 years old and 13 pounds. Candee was brought in by her breeder to be euthanized because they no longer had any use for her. That's when our rescue was contacted, and we immediately took her in; Candee's life was not over. Candee is learning her new life of being in a home, cared for, and loved. She's crate-trained, learning housebreaking, and leash training. She's a mellow girl who loves her new life. She has been vet checked, including vaccinations, spayed, and dental surgery with 3 teeth extracted. We did find out she had a heart murmur of grade 4/5. She currently shows no signs or symptoms of heart issues and had no complications during those surgeries. We need a special adopter who understands that in future years, she may have heart related issues.
