Cari is tiny, sweet and a Velcro toy poodle who has never been away from other dogs. She will likely need another small dog to hang, play, and lay with when her people are out and about. Cari loves toys, playing, and running in a fenced yard. Because of her size, and depending on the size of her furry friend, an extra large corral can be considered. Cari arrived very timid and is improving everyday day, with an occasional backslide from an unexpected sound or touch. She will calm as she becomes used to her new family and new sounds of home. She doesn’t react to thunder or fireworks, since her foster pups ignore them. She is mostly house trained and sleeps all night, just get her outside every couple hours during the day. She seems to understand pee pads, but continues to miss, if given the chance to use one. Cari is carried outside directly from the bed in the mornings. She cannot, yet, jump onto furniture or the bed and must be gently picked up and lowered. This is when Cari will bark, should you leave her on the furniture when leaving the room or get into bed without her.
