Meet Arlo!

Arlo is an 18-month-old Fourche Terrier (Westie/Yorkie mix) with lots of love, energy and personality to share with his forever family. He loves leash walks, playtime, and is learning fetch—though he’s still more into coming back for pets than retrieving the toy.

Arlo is a smartie pants! He comes to his name, can sit (but he is so excited to be next to you that he doesn't sit for long!). He is learning more commands and words day by day. He can be vocal when he hears noises in the house and can't see who is making them. Arlo doesn't have a lot of experience with other dogs. He likes them and wants to play but his lack of doggie manners makes some dogs angry. He would be happy as an only dog who can be the king of the castle but if it were the right fit he would like to have an energetic four legged sibling. The question would be how the other dog would feel about him.

Like any young dog, Arlo needs guidance, structure, and a routine to help him thrive. He has a lot of energy and will need regular exercise to be well behaved. He’ll be ready for adoption in early May!
