Welcome to our rescue Gizmo! This handsome boy is a 3 year old purebred long haired French Bulldog. Gizmo recently came to us as a surrender. Gizmo is housebroken, leash trained and is crate trained, however you will need to carry him to his crate. Gizmo is a barker, he barks at everything, even things no one else hears! He is very energetic in spurts and loves to run around in the backyard and play with the other dogs in his foster home. His play does need to be monitored as he doesn't understand his limitations; Gizmo has Intervetebral degenerative disk disease and has undergone spinal surgery. Gizmo will require specialized care for the entirety of his life. Most of the time Gizmo plays nice with other dogs, however he will randomly snap at them, especially the more energetic ones. Preferably Gizmo should be adopted as an ONLY dog in the home. We are willing to consider applicants whom have a small dog in their home that is passive and low energy. Gizmo will require a home without small children. We are currently reviewing applications to find Gizmo an adopter who is best suited to care for him and his special needs.
