This precious old lady is looking for a forever home! Greta is just the sweetest girl with the sweetest face. She’s always happy and likes to follow her foster mom everywhere she goes. We are guessing she is around 12 years old and some kind of chow/shepherd mix. She mostly mellow, but gets her short bursts of energy and excitement. When her foster mom walks in the front door, she gets hyped up and tosses her toys around with her. Greta also gets super excited for walks! She usually gets to see other dogs or cats around the neighborhood, which always makes her tail wag. Greta was surrendered to us from an unfortunate situation, but once her matted belly was shaved and she got that bath that she desperately needed, you would never know it. She doesn’t want to go on the couch or bed. She just enjoys laying nearby on one of her dog beds or just a rug. She isn’t a very cuddly dog, probably because that’s not how her last home was, but just appreciates company. Greta LOVES other dogs and cats, but it would probably be best if her future fur siblings weren’t too hyper. Even though she likes to play, you can tell she doesn’t enjoy dogs jumping in her face for too long. She waddles around perfectly fine, but the less stairs she has to tackle the better. She has a lump on one of her front legs, but the vet examined it and believes that it most likely isn’t cancerous so it would just need to be monitored. If you look past her arthritis and cloudy eyes, I promise she will be an amazing companion.
