Fozzie Bear spent his life as a puppy mill dog until he was of no use to them any longer. We wanted to give him a better life!
He is a happy little guy who loves playing and romping with his foster brothers and sister.  He gallops across the yard with such joy and is learning to run.  He is always aware of where his person is and melts into your arms with love and affection.  He is making progress with potty-training and is very cooperative to wait by the door, for his belly band, when entering the house.  When allowed outside regularly, his belly band pad stays dry.  He will not soil the furniture so he is safe to be without the belly band while lounging on the couch or sleeping in bed.  He has not developed the muscles to jump on or off the furniture, so he stays until picked up and placed on the floor.
Fozzie Bear's perfect family, ideally, would include a Mom or Dad to be with almost always.  As quiet content as he is when with his family, Fozzie easily slides into his shoulder carrier for quick trips to the store or lazily browsing in "The Home Store."  Of course, he also sleeps quietly when his people go out and dances his welcome when we arrive home.  Fozzie Bear has spent his 12 years in a cage with other dogs.  He craves touching, laying on, putting his arm around another being, whether person, dog or cat.  Fozzie Bear's fur is cottony soft with loose curls so he is easy to groom and brush.  We will work on his leash training as he has not experienced "taking a walk," yet.
If you feel this angel is meant to retire and play with you for his remaining years, please submit your application to adopt Fozzie Bear.   This puppy mill survivor deserves the most golden of years in his future.  Fozzie is pure joy!
