Chauncey was brought to the city shelter when his owner passed away and there was no family to take him in. Little did he know, Buffalo Pug  heard about him and immediately brought him to a loving foster family where he will live until he finds his furever home. Chauncey is a shy, sweet boy. Everyone who meets him comments on how good he is! He is housbroken, crate trained,. gets along fine with other dogs and kitties. Chauncey  walks nicely on a leash, and loves to go for car rides. Chauncey will sit for a little piece of hot dog and loves to be on your lap or pressed up against you on the couch. He is already coming out of his shell, and it's exciting to watch his full personality emerge. Chauncey would do well with a calmer, quiet home. Although he loves children, he prefers a more relaxed environment. He is happiest cuddled up  with his person, napping and getting petted. He is a very low maintenance boy who is just looking for love, consistency and reassurance.
