Sugar & Pee Wee were dumped at a kill shelter by a breeder with 15 other chihuahuas because they were past their peak breeding age. Sugar & Pee Wee are the very best of friends and certainly deserved to live a real life, so we offered to take these sweeties so they would be safe from euthanasia.

Sugar & Pee Wee are very small chihuahuas. They are about 6 lbs each. Sugar is a beautiful white girl who loves giving kisses and when she was on transport she was wagging her tail like crazy and licking our fingers through the bars of the crate as if she knew that she was finally safe. Pee Wee is more reserved- and yes, he is a boy, but he is not at all bothered about wearing pink. He huddled quietly behind Sugar with wide eyes not sure what to make of us. Pee Wee is a beautiful gray/blue color with an adorable face. Their foster mommy is showing them tons of love and allowing them to finally live the lives they have deserved all along. Sugar and Pee Wee love to snuggle up on the couch. They are great with other dogs and tolerate the young dog in their foster home, but will non-aggressively let the others know when they've had enough playtime. Right now, their foster mom is working hard to teach them better manners and to calm their nerves when on the leash. They are not sold on the New York winters, but are slowly getting the hang of it.

They are both 6 years old and looking for an adult home. These 2 cuties must remain together so we are looking for a family that would like to welcome both of these peanuts into their home and promise to love and cherish them forever.
