Rest In Peace Piggy-Piggy 2004-1/31/11
It is a sad day for all of us, especially those of us who had the pleasure of knowing and loving Miss Piggy as she suddenly and unexpectly crossed over to the rainbow bridge. Our sweet, loving Miss Piggy with her lady-like stubborness is surely running through fields of green and those legs bent with age are now young and new again. Thank you to all who cared for this sweet girl and saw the beauty that she held inside. She is certainly missed by many.
Miss Piggy was dumped at a shelter in Ohio when her owners could no longer care for her. Our volunteers drove to Ohio to get this girl and bring her into our rescue where she would be safe from euthanasia.
Miss Piggy is a laid back kind of gal! She likes to go for short walks, knows to do her business outside and loves to sit in her bed beside her human. She would make a great companion for a single person or would make a wonderful member of a family. She is the sweetest little pug. She gives kisses during bath time, nuzzles her face into you when it’s time to snuggle on the couch and even lets us dress her in all these cute outfits! Miss Piggy is wonderful with children of any age. She is so trustworthy and sweet and wouldn’t hurt a fly! She walks well on a leash, never pulls and is such a well-behaved girl!
Miss Piggy is great with any dog. Most of the time, she is uninterested, but shares nicely and is extremely tolerant of others. She would not mind cats either.
Miss Piggy is still waiting for her forever family! She may not be as spry as some of the other dogs in our rescue, but she certainly makes up for that with personality! Think Miss Piggy is the missing piece to your family? Submit your adoption application today!
