Meet Bosco! This sweet senior guy was surrendered to Buffalo Pugs because his family knew he would be happier in a more peaceful home without children.
Bosco was very confused when he came into rescue. He had lived with the same family for almost 10 years and just could not understand what was happening to him. He has now settled into his foster home and really needs a forever home to spend his golden years.
Bosco is a great boy. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is very tolerant of the youngsters in his foster home. While they prance around and wrestle with eachother, he stands nearby like the wise man watching over them. He has a young soul and loves to play with toys! He has a few favorite toys that he will put right in your lap and just as you reach to grab it...ZING there goes Bosco with the toy in his mouth. He shares his toys, food and treats well with other dogs too! He is housebroken, crate trained and walks beautifully on a leash.
He is very affectionate and loves to give kisses to anyone willing! He has this silly habit of hoping on his foster mom's lap and then teetering over. He does this on purpose because in the end, he is cradled into her arms like a baby getting a belly rub!
Bosco has a little bit of anxiety and would prefer not to be crated. We would love to find him a human that is home most of the time. Bosco is sometimes shy around new people and will let you know if someone is at the door.
Bosco really deserves a home with people understanding of his needs. He is a very sweet boy that is sure to win you over! We are sure there is someone out there that would love to make Bosco's golden years some of the best years of his life. Could that be you?
Bosco is being fostered in Rochester.
