Crossed over the bridge March, 2007. RIP Betty!

Betty is another of our recent older rescues that was nearly put down because of their age. She was in a shelter for three weeks (and she was there that long because the staff thought she was the BEST dog and could not bare to see her put to sleep) before the shelter had to let go of her one way or another. Thankfully for Betty, they contacted our group and we had an open foster for her to be placed in our program with. Betty is a very young 10 yrs old and she just loves everything about life. She loves dogs, cats, kids... you name it! This girl is VERY healthy and will probably live to a ripe old age... if you would consider a dog that is just a little older but has supreme housemanners and a personality to boot, then Betty is your girl! Betty would also enjoy a home where she is not alone too much of the time as she likes to be near someone when she can be.
