June 2006 - Chloe has crossed over the bridge. We hope that we helped to make her last years full of happiness and love! Our sympathies to her family and our deepest gratitude to them for opening their hearts and home to one who so needed them.

Update 9/13: Chloe had been adopted out a couple of months ago, however, as with all dogs who are brought into a new home, she needed to be shown where it was okay to use the potty. Her adopter was unable to figure this out, so, she is now back in rescue again! If you can give Chloe the warm loving home she deserves and can realize that she will need to adapt to her new home, then please note your interested in her today!

Original Posting: Senior Shmeanior! Chloe is about as unsenior as a dog can be. She does not look her age and she sure shows she has enough spunk to keep up with the young 'uns, but she also has her quiet moments when she can sit with you by the crackling fireside on a winter's night... sure, she may not be a hunting dog any more... but she will be there waiting when you come home from a long day in the woods... she enjoys cuddling and the occassional walk... she loves the scents of a warm spring day! Chloe is a very healthy senior dog who has had a bad coupla knocks in life... this girl was originally in a shelter a few years back and now here she is in a rescue for no good reason but that her owner could no longer have pets... if you want to give Chloe that warm home she needs for her twilight years, she is waiting to meet you!
