Paige came to our rescue in late April 2012 after coming into a shelter as a stray in frightening condition. Paige is roughly 2 years old. She had demodectic mange which had clearly been ignored for quite some time. Paige was underweight, completely hairless with cracking, bleeding skin. She stood no chance at the shelter so we offered to take her into rescue.

Paige is a wonderful little girl who has gone from a life of suffering to the good life in her foster home. She is great with cats, dogs and all people. She's a fast eater, but has no aggression. As her pictures reflect, Paige has made lots of progress. Mange does come with setbacks though. Sometimes it can flare when a dog is under great stress. Paige has been spayed, had a negative skin scrape and is finally  ready for her forever home.

We really can't understand why Paige is still waiting for her forever home.  She could not be a better dog.  It seems she keeps getting passed over, and it breaks our hearts.  She loves children and is so gentle, loving and sweet.  Come meet her and see for yourself.  She does not disappoint!
