Meet Arlo!

Arlo is an 18-month-old Fourche Terrier (Westie/Yorkie mix) with lots of love, energy and personality to share with his forever family. He loves leash walks, playtime, and is learning fetch—though he’s still more into coming back for pets than retrieving the toy. He is a good sleeper and goes through the whole night but his favorite is pretending to nap sunnyside up so he can get ALL the belly rubs. He is house trained.

Arlo is a smartie pants! He comes to his name, can sit (but he is so excited to be next to you that he doesn't sit for long!). He is learning more commands and words day by day. He has a lot ot say when he hears noises in the house and can't see who is making them. Arlo doesn't have a lot of experience with other dogs. He likes them and wants to play but his lack of doggie manners makes some friends angry - it's very hard for him to accept no answers when he wants to play! He would be happiest as an only dog who can be the king of the castle.

Like any young dog, Arlo needs guidance, structure, and a routine to help him thrive. He has a lot of energy and will need regular exercise to be well behaved. He’s ready for adoption!
