Otis is a great walking partner but is just as comfy snoozing in his crate or dogbed. He likes people and ignores kitties and chickens. He would be okay with a submissive, relaxed dog but might be better as an only dog. He doesn't want another dog in his face for an extended period of time. He can be snappy towards pushy dogs (and I'm guessing pushy younger kiddos too). He is housebroken with the occasional accident overnight. He likes to eat by himself away from other dogs, but he LOVES to eat! We feed him small meals throughout the day so he doesn't eat too fast and make himself sick. He's deaf other than he can hear very loud noises and whistles.  He has had several cancerous masses removed from various areas of his body and we are just watching a few spots at the moment. He takes Benadryl to slow the growth of his cancer.
