Tierney is a 6 pound chihuahua who came to us from a bad situation in  Mississippi. She was part of a large group of small dogs who lived in crates in a small building with no ventilation. It was called Operation Breathe for a reason. At first she was afraid of everything, and barked at anything that moved in the house. She has made great strides and is now quite comfortable In her foster home and sleeps with her foster mom and the other dogs. Tierney uses puppy pads and also does her business outside in a fenced in area. She is in good health and has been spayed . While her progress has been exceptional, Tierney remains afraid of some things and being touched is one of them. We are diligently working on this. She will need a home where there is a lot of love and patience , a place where she will continue to grow. A fenced in area is a must, and due to her size only a home with older children will be considered. Tierney is a sweet girl now that her personality has emerged and will make someone very happy. She loves other dogs and ideally would like to be adopted to a home with another dog, although this is not absolutely necessary.
