Bella was surrendered because she seemed to be afraid of one of the family members and would growl at them.

Bella is a very sweet little girl and is DEAF! At times she almost seems as though she can hear. She gets scared of new people and will snap and growl at them. If you give Bella a chance to meet you and allow her to come up to you, she can be the sweetest little girl. Bella does not care for other dogs and is best as an only dog. Bella needs calm home with an older owner that will spend most of their time with her. She would not be great for a family but for a single person or a couple that would crate her when company came would be ideal. Bella maybe scared but all these BIG people coming towards her and the fact that she does not hear it is very understanding. We are hoping to find her a home with someone who understands and won't mind taking their time to work with her and help her understand.
