11/12/07: Sadly, Lightning has passed on of old age this week. He was great friend and a beautiful soul. Lightning will be missed.

Someone really had a sense of humor when they named this guy! He quite obviously is the anti-lightning due to the fact that he weighs in at 75 lbs. This boy and his brother Bullet are both quite lazy bums. They do not have alot of energy and are not at all alot to keep after. Naturally, they will need their ears cleaned regularly :) Neither Lightning or Bullet are avid droolers. Some bassets drool quite often, but these two seem to keep it in. Aside from a teeth cleaning and perhaps a need for some diet dog food, Lightning is a healthy boy. If you always wanted a lounge lizard around your house... this is the guy for you!
