UPDATE 8/13/2004: It is with a heavy heart that I must report that Destiny lurched out of the grasp of her foster mom and into the road on Wednesday the 11th of August. Her back end was shattered and the most humane thing for us to do was to end her suffering. Memories of this girl will haunt us forever because we feel quite sadly that she was taken too soon and never got to know what a forever home was... thankfully, she did get love and joy in her foster home before she went... she will be missed and remembered.

Original Post:Destiny is a beautiful shephard mix who was abandoned by her only owners when they moved to a place that does not allow pets. She was very scared in the shelter where she was turned into, so they called upon us to get her out so that she could enjoy a more peaceful existance at a foster home. Destiny enjoys her runs in the backyard and loves to be outdoors either playing in a run or frolicking with a human. She has always been in an adult home with no children, so we are looking for a similar situation for her now. We will consider homes with children because she has proved to be a gem with them at the foster home, but we think she would enjoy a more peaceful place to live. We also ask that you have a fenced in yard so she can have the space she needs and wants. Please note that she is 30 lbs and more on the small/medium side.
